More often than not, a carjacking criminal is carrying a gun to commit this violent act. Carjackers generally rely on the element of surprise. So, being aware of our surroundings is key to preventing this potentially deadly attack. BUT…many victims of carjacking report never seeing the attacker until after the gun is in their face. In some cases, victims don’t even see the attacker until they are already being taken out of their vehicle.
These attacks commonly occur in busy intersections, at stoplights, gas stations or in parking structures or lots. Let’s train and stop this from happening in our city to us!
We will discuss tips to prevent a carjacking situation, but if the unthinkable happens, we will have Krav Maga techniques and principles to fall back on.
